AB Vista Growth Helps AB Agri to Record Profits
UK - AB Vista has again made a significant contribution to the success of parent company AB Agri Ltd, part of Associated British Foods plc (ABF). The annual results, released on 8 November, showed record operating profits for AB Agri, highlighting its importance as a key player in the global feed market.AB Vista grew its market share in the core enzyme market, increasing revenue growth by 30 per cent in the year ending September 2011. And next year, AB Vista promises an even more exciting development.
Working with its strategic supply and development partners such as AB Enzymes, ROAL and AB Mauri, AB Vista has enjoyed unprecedented demand over the last year for all categories of its feed micro-ingredient products, recording revenue increases across all regions, helping establish what has now become a major feed ingredients platform.
AB Vista's Managing Director, Richard Cooper, said: "I am delighted that AB Vista has made such a major contribution to the growth of AB Agri. AB Vista was able to grow its market share in the highly competitive feed enzyme sector and we are on track to become the 3rd biggest player in 2012. Over the past year, in readiness for further growth, AB Vista has been steadily expanding its team, taking on a total of 18 new employees at its UK headquarters and across its network of international offices. Even more importantly, the company is now gearing up to announce what the company believes will be the most exciting breakthrough in animal nutrition of the last 10 years – at the International Poultry Exhibition (IPE), Atlanta. All will be revealed during IPE Week, which starts on 23 January 2012.
