When evaluating the effectiveness of brooding procedures, the difference in CV% from placement to 7 days of age shows how good your brooding set-up is.
If CV% at 7 days is greater than 3 percentage points that at day old, review brooding practices:
- Temperature/ humidity
- Feed
- Water
- Lighting
