COMPOSITION
Amoxicillin ( as amoxicillin trihydrate )................ 50 g

PROPERTIES
Broad-spectrum ?-lactam antibiotic.
Amoxicillin acts by inhibiting mucopeptide synthesis in the bacterial cell wall. It is active against gram positive organisms such as Staphylococci that do not produce penicillanase, Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Clostridia, Actinomyces spp, Bacillus anthracis, Listeria monocytogenes and gram negative organism such as Proteus mirabilis, Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp.,Actinobacillus spp., Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Moraxella spp., Fusobacterium. Amoxicillin has good absorption and widely distributed in all tissues. It is mainly eliminated through the urine in its active form.

INDICATIONS
Poultry.For prevention and treatment of infections caused by Amoxicillin-sensitive organisms.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration by mixing with drinking water.20 mg of amoxicillin /kg body weight / day for 5 days in 2 administrations. Dilution at 2 g of VETRIMOXIN 50 per 10 L of drinking water every 12 hours for 3 - 5 days.
CONTRADICTIONS
Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to penicillin.
Do not administer to laying hens with age over 16 weeks.

Hypersensitivity reactions.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not handle in case of hypersensitivity to Penicillin.
Medicated water which is not consumed within 12 hours should be discarded.
