CEVAC® UNI L - For the active immunization of Chickens against Newcastle Disease from CEVA SANTE ANIMALE

COMPOSITION

CEVAC® UNI L contains the Hitchner B1 lentogenic strain of Newcastle Disease virus in live, freeze-dried form. The embryonated hen eggs used in the production of the vaccine are obtained from specified-pathogen-free (SPF) flocks.

INDICATIONS

For the active immunisation of healthy chickens against Newcastle Disease. The vaccine may be used for initial or re-vaccination of broilers, pullets and hens.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Primary vaccination should be carried-out with CEVAC® UNI L by eye-drop or spray method, as from the first day of age.
Booster vaccination is recommended three to four weeks after priming, by eye-drop, spray or drinking water administration.
For pullets, a second booster vaccination is recommended at 10 to 12 weeks of age.

STORAGE

- Store vaccine between +2°C and +8°C or 35°F and 45°F
- Protect from light

WARNING

Newcastle Disease virus may cause a mild inflammation of the eye in humans which lasts for two or three days. Care should therefore be taken when handling the virus to avoid contact with the eyes.
