Egg transfer - semi-automated - TM3
Improved operator speed, efficiency and performance.
Semi-automated egg transfer
Pas Reform’s semi-automatic egg transfer machine is constructed for two operators, alternately loading a full setter tray and an empty hatcher basket into position. The eggs on the setter tray are transferred into the hatcher basket by a vertical suction head that, after positioning the tray, descends automatically, to lift the eggs gently by vacuum suction before lowering them arefully into the hatcher basket.
The quick coupling suction head allows for an easy changeover to other tray types, while the semi-automated egg transfer machine emits low sound levels and is easy to clean.
In a hatchery transferring 155,000 eggs/week, the use of the Pas Reform transfer machine reduces the percentage of eggs with hairline-cracks
by 1-2%.
Annually, this equates to around 40,000 eggs saved or, assuming 82% hatchability, 32,800 day old chicks.
