Sounds of music to soothe turkeys
UK - Whenever Richard Botterill drove a tractor into the barn at his family's 500-acre farm in this rural village, the music on the tractor radio attracted an unexpected audience: his flock of free-range bronze turkeys. "The turkeys would gather around the tractor and cock their heads to one side and appear to be listening," said Botterill, a son of lifelong farmers.
