Beit Alfa, most modern broiler breeder project in Israel
ISRAEL - At the beginning of April, Kibbutz Beit Alfa, in Israel, held an open door day to showcase a new 30.000 broiler breeder project they have installed. The total complex consists of 3 poultry houses, 140 meters long and 14 meters wide on a 0,6 hectare site.
The poultry houses were constructed by Agro Top, and equipped by Hapach Metal Industries and Kibbutz Hasolelim, a dealer of Vencomatic and Prinzen egg packing machines, in Israel.
The houses are equipped with Vencomatic automatic nest systems (Classic Centerbelt Nest), a poultry slat (Vencoslat) in front of the nest, and Roxell feeding pans and bell drinkers.
The eggs are collected centrally with a Vencobelt egg conveyor belt and a PSP hatching egg packer from Prinzen Machines. Breeding stock is supplied by Hybro through Kibbutz Hasolelim.
Mr. Jacob Klein, responsible for poultry production at Kibbutz Beit Alfa, gave a welcome speech at the open door day which attrached more then 200 interested persons.
