Stronger team to provide for growing South American sales - SOUTH AMERICA - A series of new appointments has been made by Cobb-Vantress Inc to strengthen its management team in Brazil and other South American countries where Cobb broiler breeding stock continues to gain market share.

Fausto Ferraz, who has been managing sales in South America for the past two years, has been promoted to become regional sales, technical service and marketing manager. His responsibilities will include overseeing sales and technical service within Brazil in close liaison with Globoaves, the sales arm of Cobb-Vantress Brasil, as well as pursuing opportunities in other South American countries.

Gustavo Rezende has joined the team as technical service representative for Sao Paulo, Minais Gerais and Central West regions, working with the regional technical services manager Rodrigo Terra.

José Luis Januário becomes complex manager of the Uberlandia region. He was previously technical service representative for the Sao Paulo, Minais Gerais and Central West regions.

"These changes will help us to become an even better supplier of top quality breeding stock for the growing Cobb customer base in South America," says Mark Barnes, regional general manager of Cobb-Vantress.
