Dutch farmer builds two tier Bolegg Terrace house
THE NETHERLANDS - In Helvoirt, the Netherlands, poultry farmer van de Bosch has build a large two tier house, to be equipped with the new aviary success system of Vencomatic, Bolegg Terrace. In total 39.900 birds will be placed in this poultry house. At September 30th there will be a large open door day for everyone interested. Shortly after this open door day the hens will be placed on the system.
The total length of the house is 70 meters and including the wintergarden, the width is 24 meters. On each tier of the house 4 rows of Bolegg Terrace will be installed. In front of the house, the eggs will be transported with a Vencobelt to a central Prinzen egg packer.
Very important with two tier houses is the ventilation concept. Therefore an air mixer is placed, which delivers the air on bird level through the air tubes on the side of the system.
