Georgia poultry prices
US - The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 68.00 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds.Seventy-three percent (representing 835 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 65.00 to 70.00 with a preliminary weighted average of 67.58 f.o.b. dock or equivalent.
The market is mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are ranging mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter Thursday was 5,020,100 head. This compares with 5,167,100 head last Thursday.
