Hybro celebrates 50 years of broiler breeding at VIV Europe 2006
THE NETHERLANDS - It has been 50 years since the first Hybro broiler breeders were introduced - and to mark the occasion, Hybro organised a party during VIV Europe in Utrecht (May 15 - 18,Utrecht, The Netherlands) to welcome a host of national and international colleagues, customers, breeding partners and other associates from around the world to the Hybro stand, to celebrate a half-century of dedication to broiler breeding worldwide.
General manager Richard Maatman thanked those attending: "Both the Poultry
industry as well as Hybro have undergone many changes and developments over
the past five decades," he said, "It is important for a breeding company to
continuously adapt in time to the changing industry environment and
demands. This has been possible by working closely with our customers, to
understand the varied needs of the poultry sector in different countries
around the world.
"The result of 50 years' dedication to broiler breeding worldwide is an
enhanced product portfolio that successfully meets these demands. Today,
fifty years on, [Hybro] products - together with a powerful combination of
outstanding technical expertise, experienced people and unrivalled support
in the field, are delivering results that consistently outperform our
competitors around the globe."
Hybro's international sales manager Wilfred Folkeringa was delighted with
the number of people visiting the Hybro stand. Many customers and
colleagues had, he said, travelled many miles to celebrate with Hybro at
VIV this year, which was a strong testament to the relationships the Dutch
company has forged with its partners around the world.
" We are seeing a tremendous interest in our company and our products,"
said Mr. Folkeringa, "and we are privileged that so many people came to
visit us at VIV, not only to celebrate our 50th anniversary, but also to
learn more about our products and services.
"This has been an extremely successful show for Hybro, and we certainly
expect to see further increases in our sales as a result."
Hybro's 50th anniversary celebrations continue on June 9th, when the
company welcomes around 200 Hybro colleagues, representatives and
distributors from around the world, to a major celebration that has been
many months in planning.
