The winner taking 1st, 2nd and 8th was my good friend, that great fancier from Youlgrave, John Brownlee, who is once again having a fantastic season, his winners are two four year old Gerveart x Janssen widowhood cocks both big winners over the last few seasons, winning over 7 firsts each, in the last two seasons he has competed in and won 19 races in the Youlgrave Club, never been beaten, also many top federation positions in the first 10 most weeks, where he races to there is no drag, he is in a small club, the farthest club in the west.

He only sent four birds to Picauville and 3 were in the first 8 positions and the fourth he never clocked in, but it would have been in the first 15 if he had.

John only races 12 widowhood cocks, but they all have to win prizes, it was a pleasure to handle his birds they are all in super condition and will be winning many more fed prizes this season. I introduced John to Orego-Stim® last season and he has used it ever since then with even greater success. He says his birds are always in top condition, and on Friday nights when they are sent to the races fanciers comment on their silky feathers and general good condition.
