US to Seek WTO Panel over EU Poultry Ban
US - The United States is expected to request a World Trade Organization (WTO) panel to end a long-running dispute with the European Union over Brussels' ban on imports of US chicken, diplomats well-informed about the case said.

"It is expected that the US will seek a WTO panel over chicken in the coming days," one diplomat with knowledge of the case told Reuters.
Consultations between both sides at the WTO in Geneva have failed to resolve the 11-year row over EU restrictions on chlorinated-treated poultry, diplomats said.
