US - Economist, Dr Donald Ratajczak, will be a featured speaker at the Poultry Market Intelligence Forum, scheduled again for the International Poultry Expo in 2010.

Sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association, the 2010 edition of the world's largest poultry industry event is set for 27 to 29 January 2010 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Dr Ratajczak is recognised as a leading authority on the US economy.

In addition to Dr Ratajczak, the agenda will include noted industry economists Mike Donohue (Agri Stats) and Dr Paul Aho (Poultry Perspectives). Dr Ratajczak will offer his insights on US and global economic conditions. Mr Donohue and Dr Aho will examine the issues that will impact the domestic and international poultry industry in 2010.

The Poultry Market Intelligence Forum, one of several education programmes during the week, is scheduled for 29 January from 09:00 to 11:00. It is co-sponsored by USPoultry and the National Poultry and Food Distributors Association.

USPoultry president, John Starkey, said: "The Market Intelligence Forum was so popular last year that we have renewed it for 2010. Everyone is eager to stay informed on current market conditions and projections for the future. This programme keeps industry leaders up to date on the important elements that affect the markets."
