According to Meatingplace, Wesley Mendonca Batista, chief operating officer of JBS S.A., has replaced 81-year-old Lonnie 'Bo' Pilgrim as chair on the board of directors of Pilgrim's Pride Corp.
Citing a filing at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the report adds that Mr Pilgrim Senior will remain a member of the board but Lonnie Ken Pilgrim, the company's vice president, and Richard Cogdill, its chief financial officer, have been removed.
