US - A U.S. company has recalled more than 91,000 pounds of frozen fully cooked chicken nuggets sold at Walmart stores because the products may contain plastic pieces, CBS reported yesterday.

In response to consumer complaints, the company, Perdue Farms Inc., made a checkup and found foreign objects -- pieces of blue plastic - inside the nuggets, according to the report.

The products, produced on 9 June, were all shipped to Walmart, under its store brand, Great Value, a Perdue spokesman said.

Each bag bears a best if used by date of 9 June 2011 as well as an establishment number of P-33944, and a case code of 8900A0160.

It was not immediately known whether there was any incident in relation with the problematic products.

The Georgia-based company said anyone concerned about an injury from consumption of this product should contact a physician.
