Newcastle Disease Returns to Israel
ISRAEL - Two new outbreaks of Newcastle disease have been reported in village flocks.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 20 dated 17 August to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
Both outbreaks started on 20 July in small village flocks, one in Jerusalem and one in Tel Aviv. In total, 17 birds were involved, 11 of which showed symptoms, nine died and eight were destroyed.
