More HPAI Discovered in Viet Nam
VIET NAM - The Vietnamese veterinary authorities have reported further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Nam Dinh.The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 67 on Friday, 24 February.
According to the report, a total of 180 birds were found susceptible to the outbreak, out of which 145 cases were reported. 100 deaths were recorded, and the remaining 80 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains unknown.
