Ukraine Meat and Dairy Production to Increase
UKRAINE - Ukraine is expected to produce 2.26 million tonnes of meat this year Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a briefing at the Cabinet.

By: A report on Radio Ukraine said that from this production 90,000 tonnes will be exported.
The country is expected to produce 1.06 million tonnes of poultry meat, 750,000 tonnes of pork and 410,000 tonnes of beef.
The increase in meat production is expected to revitalise the country's meat processing plants.
The minister added that on average Ukrainians consume 205 kg of milk per capita a year and this is expected to increase by 5kg this year.
