Agrifirm & Doux Take over Poultry Feed Plant
GERMANY - Dutch co-operative, Agrifirm and French-based poultry processor, Doux, have taken over a feed mill in the east of the country for the production of high–quality broiler feed.

By: Doux and Agrifirm GmbH have reached an agreement on the sale of a factory for broiler feed in the former East Germany, reports NieuwsGrazer. The deal has been officially approved.
The plant previously produced about 40,000 tons of broiler feed per year.
In the future, the factory will focus on broiler feed production. The empty factory is fully equipped with the latest technology to meet the requirements for producing high quality feed. The plant is scheduled to re-open in the autumn, staffed by the previous employees and using the latest nutrition know–how.
