Colombia to Start Exporting Meat to China
COLOMBIA - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia, Juan Camilo Restrepo Salazar, said the sanitary and phytosanitary agreement signed with the Government of China has opened possibilities for exports of agricultural products and livestock, including meat and poultry.According to the minister, who accompanied President Juan Manuel Santos on his visit to Beijing and Shanghai, said the visit was important to Colombia's agricultural sector to ensure the health of livestock and poultry for meat production.
