Repopulation of Birds Begins in Jalisco
MEXICO - Twenty-eight days have passed without a report of influenza, which has led to farms restocking. Already in Jalisco, the area hit by the outbreak, five million birds have been reintroduced to systems.

In addition, egg imports have been authorised to enter the country from Costa Rica, Chile and Colombia.
The Mexican government has also begun negotiations with Peru and Nicaragua.
To strengthen the market supply of poultry products, over 14,000 health certificates have been created to allow the mobilisation of meat and egg products within and outside the region.
In total, 140,9 million vaccines have been used in the region.
