Abraão Gourgel also told the press that domestic production covers only about 23 per cent of the consumption of eggs.

He said that to reach 50 per cent by 2015, the government has adopted set of measures, both from institutional support or promotion of credit line of Angola Invest programme.

According to him, this takes into account the guarantees the programme offers so that the poultry farmers may resort to the loan in order to expand their production and attract new investors.
