Indian River (IR) has a long history of success in the poultry industry and the recently revised Handbook provides an in-depth look at all areas which are essential to achieve the best possible performance with IR Parent Stock.

Nick French, Global Head of Technical Transfer, said: "Key changes have been introduced since the last manual was published. Our newly-named ‘Handbook’ is to reflect the more comprehensive and detailed nature of the publication. One example of the new information is the grading to manage uniformity and improve performance. This section has been expanded and now includes practical step by step examples for 2- and 3-way grading for fixed and adjustable penning systems.

"In addition, we added more images which help stress key points and make the advice more visual. Wherever possible, we used practical examples to illustrate key points and management methodologies and added a key management timetable which is a summary of the critical age objectives, detailing key management points at a given age."
