February Protein Exports Up Year-on-year
BRAZIL – February meat exports have risen on 2012 figures with an overall increase of 29.3 per cent, a government report has revealed.

By: Meat export value increased by $5.2 million last month led by an average daily chicken meat increase of 16.1 per cent.
Daily Pork exports increased from $4.5 million in February 2012 to $5.4 million last month- an increase of 15.1 per cent.
Shipment volumes increased 12.3 per cent for pork, 37.8 per cent (beef) and 2.6 per cent (chicken).
