Haiti Still Yet to Formalise Meat and Egg Deal
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Meat exporters are waiting on trade plans to be formalised with the Haiti government after Dominican chicken meat and eggs were granted market access earlier this week.Authorities have made progress in signing a memorandum of understanding, offering parity across both nations’ food health systems.
Luis Ramon Rodrigues, agriculture minister, said the certification will allow for a balance of supply and demand of both chicken meat and eggs.
