Registration Open for European Poultry Conference 2014

NORWAY - Registration is now open for the European Poultry Conference, which will be held in Stavanger from 23 to 27 June 2014. Abstract submissions are also now welcome.

Nils Steinsland, Chairman of the Organizing committee, says: "On behalf of the Norwegian Organizing Committee, Worlds Poultry Science Association, and the whole academic and commercial poultry society of Norway, we extend to you to a warm invitation to register for the the XIVth European Poultry Conference in Stavanger, Norway on 23 to 27 June 2014. The conference is now open for registration and abstract submission.

"The multidisciplinary program of the conference will include three plenary sessions addressing the future of poultry production, limit to growth in broilers and new trends in egg production, and will in addition address a wide range of discipline-specific matters such as: nutrition, economics and marketing, genetics, egg quality, reproduction, meat quality, welfare, turkey production, education and technology transfer, physiology, product safety and hygiene and pathology.

"To register for the conference, please access the online registration form at our web site, www.epc2014.org. Please note that members of WPSA are offered a reduced fee, and that early bird pricing is available until 25 February.

"On the web site, you will also find an online abstract submission form. Deadline for abstract submission is 15 December 2013.

"Apart from an outstanding and rewarding scientific program, there are also several social options in the evenings. We highly recommend that you to sign up for some of these, so that you do not miss the unique and spectacular nature in the Stavanger area.
