Singapore Lifts Ban on Thai Frozen Chicken

SINGAPORE - Singapore has lifted an export ban on Thai frozen chicken to the country after a nine-year ban following the bird flu oubreak, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

According to Bernama.com, the move is expected to encourage other countries to import chicken from Thailand.

Thai Ministry of Commerce has warned domestic chicken exporters of fierce competition in the world market and advised them to focus on processed chicken products.
