Moy Park Leads Industry in Corporate Responsibility
UK - UK food company Moy Park has again been recognised in Business in the Community’s Corporate Responsibility Index (CR Index), achieving a ‘3 Star’ rating in the UK’s leading and most in-depth voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility.

By: In 2013 Moy Park was the first company in the poultry industry and the first business from Northern Ireland to be recognised in the CR Index. 2014 results show that Moy Park has increased its rating and has achieved outstanding improvements over the past year.
Mike Mullan, Moy Park HR Director Europe, said: “Achieving a three star rating is a great accolade – and even more satisfying given the CR Index has raised the bar this year, setting more challenging criteria than ever before.
“The prestigious ranking is an important achievement for the business, only granted to select companies who demonstrate exceptional standards in corporate responsibility.
“We remain the only company from the UK wide poultry industry and from Northern Ireland to be recognised in this way.”
The CR Index is recognised worldwide and helps companies measure and manage all aspects of their social and environmental performance, shape how they integrate and improve corporate responsibility throughout their business operations and benchmark themselves against competitors.
Mr Mullan added: “I would like to thank everyone throughout the business for their contribution and for all the on-going work across the company to showcase our progress. We place a great deal of importance on our corporate responsibility and work closely with our customers, suppliers, employees and the local community, to ensure we are continually recognised as a responsible and highly regarded company.”
