AB Vista to Showcase Potential of Superdosing Phytase at IPPE

UK - AB Vista will be an exhibitor in Atlanta, Ga, at IPPE, 27-29 January, 2015 (Hall A, Stand A721). During the expo, AB Vista will present the benefits and future potential of superdosing with Quantum Blue.

A recent market analysis highlighted that almost all of the monogastric feed sector is using a phytase, and emphasised how the consumption of phytase has grown dramatically since AB Vista introduced superdosing a few years ago.

Dieter Suida, Director of the Americas for AB Vista, says superdosing is becoming standard practice across many countries – particularly in North and Latin America where it is estimated around 18 million tonnes are being superdosed for optimal bird performance.

Superdosing takes phytase use beyond simple nutrient release, via application of an optimised phytase, such as Quantum Blue, at three to four times the standard dose - to destroy the majority of the phytate anti-nutrient found in feed.

Superdosing already accounts for an estimated seven per cent of the phytase market by value after just two years.

"One of our primary aims is to work collaboratively with our customers to identify ways to improve performance and fuel growth," Mr Suida says.

"AB Vista has been dedicated to researching the science behind the benefits of superdosing, and estimates that in the future superdosing could account for more than 30 per cent of all tonnes treated with phytase globally by 2019, saving the industry billions through improved performance."

During IPPE, AB Vista will be conducting a quiz at its booth, aimed at testing attendees’ knowledge on enzymes for a chance to win a GoPro camera. AB Vista encourages everyone to stop by to test their knowledge.
