The forum brought together the principal leaders of the egg industry in Asia at a discussion forum covering topics most pertinent to the Asian industry and with the aim to share information, help solve problems and to provide delegates with the confidence and contacts to help grow their businesses.

In addition to this, existing leaders in the IEC wished to learn about the most pressing issues in the Asian egg industry today, so that the IEC can properly represent these countries to international and inter-governmental bodies, and adapt the IEC work programme to suit the needs of the Asian countries.

By attending the forum, all Asian delegates became founding members of IEC Asia and will help to shape the future of IEC Asia and the format of Future Leadership Forums.
