International Egg Commission September Conference to Focus on Biosecurity

By: Excellent bio-security is widely recognised as one of the most important factors in the prevention and control of avian influenza.
In place of the farm business visit, the programme will provide a dedicated focus on safeguarding businesses against the threat of avian influenza.
The programme is being organised with the support of IEC members Lohmann Tierzucht and Big Dutchman who took the leadership decision to cancel the farm visit and have also invited all IEC delegates to a traditional dinner that evening, to continue informal discussions, bringing together the international egg industry in their home country of Germany.
