Nassar brings commercial and marketing knowledge to the role.

Reporting directly to Michael Garden, business manager, Middle East and Africa, Nassar will be responsible for commercial and marketing support of the Arbor Acres brand in the region. He will be based in Lebanon close to his customer base.

Arbor Acres is one of the most respected and oldest brands in the Middle East and the world. Efficiency is paramount at the Arbor Acres breeder and broiler level, with a leading growth rate and outstanding chick numbers. Through the progressive Aviagen breeding program, the brand has enjoyed a steady growth in the Middle East and Africa over the years.

Nassar attained a Bachelor of Science in biology, as well as Bachelor of Science in agriculture and agricultural engineering and a master’s in agriculture, majoring in animal production at the American University of Beirut. After six years of experience as a technical agriculture engineer in the production of breeders and broiler with smaller poultry integrators, he went on to work with Lebanon’s largest integrated company, Hawa Chicken, for five years, where he was head of the technical department for broilers. For the past 19 years, Nassar has worked with ARD Unifert, where he was responsible for establishing the animal health department. During this time, he successfully opened departments in Iraq, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco, gaining experience and insight working with farmers, vets and governmental bodies.
