By: DhakaTribune reports that eggs will be sold at a special price of Tk12 for four to mark the World Egg Day on 13 October.
However, the special offer is just for a day, and will only be available in a day-long fair in Dhaka, said sources from the Department of Livestock Services.
The World Egg Day fair will be held from 10am to 1pm, at the Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh in Khamarbari area, near Farmgate in Dhaka. One consumer will be able purchase a total of 90 eggs under the special price.
Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC) and the Department of Livestock Services jointly organised the fair to celebrate the World Egg Day.
