AB Jansen receives royal recognition

Ab Jansen, founder and director of Jansen Poultry Equipment, received the royal award ‘Ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau’ last Wednesday. It was handed to him by the mayor of Barneveld in the new showroom and in the presence of his family, friends and employees.

Ab Jansen, founder and director of Jansen Poultry Equipment, received the royal award ‘Ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau’ last Wednesday. It was handed to him by the mayor of Barneveld in the new showroom and in the presence of his family, friends and employees.

The firm was founded in 1986 based on an invention to help his father gather eggs. Nowadays it is an international leading company within the poultry sector. The automatic laying nest is seen as the standard worldwide. Systems from Jansen Poultry Equipment are built in over 80 countries. Innovation and development are the base of the company. In this the focus on the natural behaviour of the animals has been and still is, revolutionary in the poultry sector. Also taken in consideration is Ab Jansen’s social awareness shown in projects in Sierra Leona and Ethiopia.
