New trade agreement will bring Ukranian eggs and chicken to Singapore

"Ukraine has received approval for the export of poultry meat and meat products, fresh table eggs and egg products to Singapore. This testifies to the efficient and effective state control system for food safety and animal health," said the State Committee for Consumer Safety.

Approval for export of products was received by eight Ukrainian enterprises, which were inspected by representatives of authorities in Singapore during a verification visit of the AVA inspectors to Ukraine during the period from 29 July to 8 August 2018.

The process of approving veterinary certification between Ukrainian and Singaporean authorities for the export of poultry and meat products, table eggs and egg products from Ukraine to Singapore is underway. The information on the approval of certifications will be communicated to the State Procurement Civic Service website.

The State Committee for Expending Excellence expresses its special thanks to the Ukrainian Embassy staff in Singapore, in particular Ambassador Dmitry Senik and the First Secretary of the Embassy ​​Olena Feleniuk, for initiating the access of Ukrainian food products to the Singapore market and for assisting Ukrainian producers to enter the ASEAN markets.

For reference, Ukrainian enterprises interested in exporting poultry products to Singapore must fill out the appropriate application forms, which are posted on the website of the State Committee for Industrial Crop Protection in the section "International Cooperation" and submit for consideration by the Singaporean side.
