Aviagen® has just released the 2019 Broiler Performance Objectives and Nutrition Specifications for the Arbor Acres®, Indian River® and Ross® brands.

The new performance objectives show the continued genetic improvement in live weight and feed conversion ratio (FCR) achieved over the last 5 years, and are reflective of the performance that can be achieved in the field under good management conditions, as well as based on data collected from internal trials. Likewise, an increase in processing yields is in line with expected genetic improvements and is now more reflective of actual observed field performance.

Considerable evaluation of and research into the Nutrition Specifications first released in 2014 has shown that the advice given then is still relevant and ensures optimal broiler performance. The 2019 Broiler Nutrition Specifications are available now but the recommendations remain unaltered.
