Failing UK ag colleges to be split up

Norfolk and Suffolk agricultural college will be split up and merged with two other institutions following an “inadequate” rating from Ofsted.

According to reporting from the BBC, Easton & Otley College have been rated as “inadequate” by Ofsted. The colleges, which have 5,000 students between two campuses, provide training in subjects like farming, engineering and health.

According to the report, Easton campus will become part of City College Norwich, and the Otley campus will join the Suffolk New College in Ipswich. The mergers are set to take place in January 2020.
