Making training accessible to hatchery managers from across the globe

At Petersime, we know how valuable incubation and hatchery management training is to the modern-day hatchery. Availability of training opportunities can vary greatly depending on where a hatchery is located. That’s why Petersime sets up training courses at starting, intermediate and more advanced levels that are accessible to hatchery managers from across the globe.

In some countries, availability of training and knowledge-sharing programmes is more limited than in others. Hence, some hatchery managers lack access to training opportunities and new insights and approaches that are vital in taking their hatchery’s results to the next level. Well-designed training programmes such as the Petersime Hatchery Management Training are accessible to hatchery managers from across the globe and help fill this need.

Last autumn, representatives of K&N Poultry, Poultry International, Sadiq Poultry and Quality Poultry Breeders from Pakistan were among the participants who joined one of our Hatchery Management Trainings. In Pakistan, the poultry sector plays an important role in bridging the gap between the supply and demand for protein. Commercial poultry farming in Pakistan has grown rapidly over the decades. Especially in the last few years, the poultry sector has shown excellent growth and has emerged as a source of employment for more than 1.5 million people, increasing the need for training of hatchery managers and/or their assistants. The three-day advanced Hatchery Management Training proved to be very interesting and relevant:

“I found this training very useful and practical. Petersime’s professional tips, for instance what we learned about early deaths and transfer cracks, have helped me improve my hatchery’s results.”
- Dr Waseem Shahzad, GP Hatchery Manager, K&N Poultry

“The training was well-organised and fully focused on the practical aspects of day-to-day hatchery management. I especially found the breakout session to be a very good learning experience.”
- Mr Omair Aslam, Director, Poultry International
