Efrochei Hagalil Vehaemek upgrades to single-stage
In a partnership with E.M.I., broiler hatchery Efrochei Hagalil Vehaemek in Sarid (Israel) has recently made the switch from multi-stage to single-stage incubation. To ensure a smooth transition, they chose Petersime for the complete hatchery design: not only incubators, but also the entire hatchery air handling and air conditioning system.

The multi-stage hatchery in Sarid was fully designed, constructed and equipped by Petersime as a turnkey project in 1983. After 35 years of using multi-stage setters for incubation, Efrochei Hagalil Vehaemek and E.M.I. decided to move to single-stage to upgrade their incubation process and overall hatchery performance.

For our shift to single-stage incubation, we immediately put our trust in Petersime, because we know they combine advanced equipment with top-level performance and high chick yield”, said Mr Hai Barkan, hatchery manager. “From the very start, we have always been able to count on Petersime for all kinds of hatchery support, so the choice to join forces again in this project was clear.”
During the upgrade, all original Petersime multi-stage equipment was replaced by 18 new single-stage BioStreamer™ HD setters and 12 BioStreamer™ HD hatchers. Our team also designed and installed the complete HVAC system. What’s exceptional is that the hatchery stayed operational and kept producing day-old chicks for the entire installation, which was coordinated by Levy Herman Projects, official Petersime distributor in Israel.
