Information initiative builds on Cobb’s biosecurity efforts
A new international virtual effort from Cobb-Vantress is the latest initiative to continue providing technical expertise and insights amid the ongoing global pandemic. Customers rely on timely and relevant advice from the wide-ranging experts at Cobb, such as the recently launched biosecurity hub and regional webinar series. Even in these unprecedented times, Cobb is committed to providing technical expertise and support to customers.“Cobb customers know they can depend on us for the relevant technical expertise they need to ensure success, whether it’s biosecurity resources or day-to-day questions,” said Stan Reid, vice president of North and South America. “Even if we can’t physically be together, we remain committed to delivering the newest and most relevant information directly and seamlessly to our customers when and how they need it.”
Beginning in May, Cobb’s global technical service teams have held webinars in Asia, South America, North America and Central America, Caribbean, and Mexico (CAMEX). These webinars were designed to provide insights and recommendations covering the most common issues in the poultry industry, including nutrition, hatchery, health, broilers, breeders, processing, and more.
“The webinars are customized by region, and to date there have been 30 separate meetings that have attracted nearly 11,000 participants from around the world,” said Pelayo Casanovas, vice president of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific. “These webinars build on ongoing efforts to provide virtual access to critical information from Cobb’s technical experts.
The recently launched biosecurity hub is another virtual resource that shares Cobb’s rigorous biosecurity program, guidelines, and recommendations from our top experts.” Free resources, including videos, posters, and articles in multiple languages, are available at cobb-vantress.com/biosecurity. The best practices included have a long history of helping to prevent the introduction of disease to produce healthy, disease-free chickens in a safe and secure environment while also helping to protect employees operating in the same facilities.
“As an industry service provider, Cobb is committed to supporting our customers and providing technical expertise and recommendations,” said Roger Vessell, senior director of world marketing. “The popular TechTalks series that launched this summer in North America offers weekly insights hosted by a range of Cobb experts.”
A new regional webinar series in Asia, South America, EMEA, and CAMEX will be kicking off in late August to complement the ongoing North America series. “We are excited to continue serving our customers with these new virtual resources and look forward to the day that we can be together again in person on a regular basis,” said Reid. Cobb customers interested in viewing the insights and information in the webinars can contact their technical service or sales representative.
