ULTIMEAT releases new plant-based ‘chicken’ style burger
The burger is mostly made of soy proteinULTIMEAT has recently launched plant-based ‘chicken’ style burger patties in what the company calls a "game-changer for vegans" in the Asian market. Moreover, the Malaysian-based food factory is Halal certified.
The patties have zero cholesterol, making them ideal for health-concerning individuals, the company said. The new patties, which are made primarily of soy protein, are vegan-friendly and high in protein.
ULTIMEAT aims to reduce its carbon footprint and reduce reliance on animals for food. The company said this is just the beginning. It plans to release more plant-based products in the future.
