The Dalian Commodity Exchange in China has officially listed eggs, corn starch and hog options on the bourse, Reuters reported, citing state media on Friday.

The Dalian exchange is already home to agricultural commodity futures including soybeans, rice and wheat. It launched its live hog futures contract in January 2021.

China is home to about half the world's pigs and is also the world's second-largest poultry producer.
