International Egg Commission rebrands as the World Egg Organisation
The rebrand represents a new visionThe International Egg Commission (IEC) has rebranded as the World Egg Organisation (WEO), a reflection of the organisation’s commitment to evolving alongside the global egg industry and leading the way to a successful collective future, according to a press release issued by the organisation.
The new name and identity mark a significant milestone in the organisation’s history; modernising their image, strengthening their global presence, and better aligning with their mission to support and promote the egg industry worldwide.
“This rebrand to the World Egg Organisation represents more than a name change,” said Juan Felipe Montoya Muñoz, WEO Chair. “It is a renewed vision of our role as the united voice for the global egg industry, driven by a clear mission: to nourish the world through collaboration and inspiration.”
“This rebrand provides a platform to better support our members and their businesses, as they navigate challenges and opportunities in today’s evolving landscape,” Montoya Muñoz added. “It presents new opportunities for international partnerships, industry-wide growth, and the acceleration of egg consumption globally.”
The World Egg Organisation will continue to deliver its existing programmes and services, including its acclaimed conferences. The rebrand introduces an updated visual identity, including a new logo, which embodies the organisation’s values.
“Our members’ ongoing support has been pivotal in reaching this milestone, and we are excited for you all to join us on this new chapter,” said the WEO Chair.
